Therapy rooted in trust, warmth and real connection

Welcome! I’m Alexis, a psychotherapist in Seattle, Washington. I work with young and middle-aged adults who are thoughtful, capable, and deeply caring, yet feel overwhelmed, self-critical, disconnected, or find it difficult to know who they are outside of all they give to their relationships and work.

If you find yourself feeling weighed down by self-doubt, anxiety, or the pressure to hold it all together, therapy can offer space to understand what keeps repeated challenges in place and explore a different path forward. I offer a supportive, steady space to pause, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and tend to what needs care.

My style is warm, engaged, and authentic. I bring genuine connection, presence and an enthusiasm for exploration, so you can feel truly seen and supported throughout this process. By working alongside you with curiosity and honesty, we make room for you to feel understood and safe enough to explore what has been difficult to face or change alone.

Together, we’ll make sense of what hurts, reconnect with what steadies you, and create room for more ease, clarity, self-trust and confidence that grows from the inside out.

Some experiences and concerns I frequently work with:

  • Anxiety, burnout and chronic stress

  • Emotional overwhelm, high sensitivity and difficulty regulating emotions

  • Self-esteem challenges, including self doubt, chronic self-criticism and shame

  • People-pleasing, perfectionism and self-abandonment

  • Life transitions, identity shifts and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected

  • Adult ADHD and ASD, especially women diagnosed later in life, including issues with attention, focus and fatigue

  • Relationship challenges, including conflict, communication difficulties and recurring relational patterns

  • Difficulty setting boundaries and prioritizing your own needs

  • Loneliness, disconnection and difficulty feeling known or understood

  • Caretaking, over-functioning and feeling responsible for others
